A better future for people with disabilities through supporting individuals and their families to live ordinary lives within the community.

Welcome
Welcome to CCS Upper South Region

CCS is a well established voluntary organization that provides support and services to meet the needs of thousands of children and adults with disabilities throughout New Zealand.

CCS was established at the Annual Conference of Rotary Clubs in Timaru in 1935, primarily in response to the effects of the poliomyelitis epidemics of 1916 and 1924/25.

Today the aim of CCS is to work in partnership with people with disabilities and their families, to ensure equality of opportunity, quality of life and an environment which enhances full community integration and participation.
